Currently in training, Dan decided to run for BEN as the charity is close to the hearts of all in the automotive sector. BEN operates five care centres around the UK, offering practical care for all ages and needs, from the young and the physically disabled, to dementia support and end of life care.
‘I started running four years ago, when my truck driving medical flagged up possible blood pressure issues,’ he said.
‘However my regular 3k fitness runs are some way short of a marathon, so there is plenty of hard work ahead. So far the response has been amazing though, with Citroen, Reed PR, Volkswagen, Renault, Iveco and JCB already generously supporting the cause,’ he added.
However there is plenty of space on his Marathon running shirt for a few more company logos and there’s still time to get them in before the shirt is printed.
