Van Guard branches into ladder loading sector

Van Guard has launched a mechanically aided ladder loading system, expanding its portfolio as it looks to become a one-stop shop for the commercial vehicle sector.

The Ladder Loader is a new product to Van Guard’s portfolio of van accessories, designed to help with the safe carrying and transportation of goods and equipment

The firm already manufactures and supplies roof bars, roof racks, internal racking and accessories, and the new Ladder Loader – unveiled at the CV Show 2019 – builds on this customer proposition.

Designed to provide a safe and effective way of loading and unloading ladders from ground level, the new solution features an ergonomic design with gas strut assistance to aid stowage and deployment.

It’s designed to utilise Van Guard’s aluminium van roof bars, and is TÜV GS certified and crash tested to industry standards.

Three Ladder Loader lengths are available depending on the vehicle size, with the MAXI Ladder Loader options enabling the carrying and safe transportation of two ladders.

Andy Woodward, sales & marketing director at Van Guard, said: “The introduction of the Ladder Loader to our product portfolio, alongside the recently launched range of aftermarket van locks, allows Van Guard to be your one-stop shop for the safe transporting and security of tools and equipment both internally and externally.”
