Van of the Year: Ford Transit Custom

Judging comment:

“As it’s one of the main vehicle category winners, the nominations are: Ford Transit Courier, Ford Transit Custom, Fuso Canter, Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Caddy and Volkswagen Crafter/M-A-N TGE.

“The winner is bristling with all the latest active safety features, connectivity and driver comforts. A recent round of revisions brought it bang up-to-date, including the option of an automatic transmission and much improved levels of refinement. All in all it’s a package that few, if any, of its rivals in its sector can beat. The 2018 Van of the Year Award goes to the Ford Transit Custom.”
