Vanarama deploys new platform to manage sales campaigns

Vanarama has deployed Ebbon-Dacs’ new Stockviewer platform to manage its stock vehicles, special offers and tactical sales campaigns, enabling it to tailor content to meet need.

The business is the first major leasing company to implement the Stockviewer solution, which provides a single, web-based technology platform to upload, manage and ultimately sell large numbers of stock and campaign vehicles.

Aimed at an audience of leasing companies, leasing brokers, dealers and vehicle manufacturers, the solution provides a ‘live’ view of vehicle stocks available to the sales channels responsible for selling them – according to Ebbon-Dacs, many firms are still using inefficient, outdated methodology such as spreadsheets.

Michael Terry, head of commercial for Ebbon-Dacs, commented: “Vanarama played a big part in helping us develop the product and we believe the new platform will now pave the way for other lease companies and vehicle manufacturers to become involved in its use and development,” he said.

“As it’s a live database in real time, it provides customers with a one-stop shop that we believe sets new standards for managing and selling stock and campaign vehicles throughout the industry,” he added.
