VanTainer to spotlight racking and storage solutions at VAN Fleet World Live

The company is part of PowerTainer Ltd, the UK & Eire distributors for Tanos GmbH who manufacture the world-renowned Systainer Toolbox System and Mobil Van Racking system.

With over 50 years experience in the tool industry, VanTainer understands the user’s needs in delivering products that improve the working environment while increasing productivity and efficiency.

At the VAN Fleet World Live show, which takes place on Friday 23 October at ArenaMK in Milton Keynes, VanTainer will show its range of van racking and storage solutions. These systems are cleverly designed so that they do not need fancy floor panelling inserts or drilling and body modification to fit. The shelving is modular and designed to allow Systainer boxes to slide in and sit securely during transit.

All boxes can be opened and accessed easily for optimum flexibility. Furthermore a typical system will weigh only around 50kg.

Parent company PowerTainer also offers a range of innovative solutions. Based in Swanley in Kent, they are the sole UK agents for the renowned Systainer Toolbox System made by Tanos GmbH and provide a full range of Systainer boxes and accessories.

According to research, the average worker can save up to 30 minutes per day by having tools close by, instead of having to make frequent trips back to the van. Reports also indicate that having boxed tools in the van can also bring a 30% saving in weight and a 30% saving in space as opposed to ‘home-made’ storage systems used by some tradespeople.

The Systainer tool boxes come in a range of sizes to accommodate various sizes of power tools. Key features include standard sized inserts to fix the tools inside firmly in place during transit, as well as allowing some extra space for the inevitable odds and sods that collect with most tools.

Every box has a foldable handle in the top so carrying is a doddle, but also, the boxes can be locked onto each other via the cleverly designed box latches so that they can be stacked one on top of another. With a tower of locked-together boxes they can be loaded onto a trolley and moved easily into and around the worksite, with the added security of each tool being safely boxed up.

The Systainer box system can also be coupled with the Mobil Van Racking system to enable the mobile workforce to become more productive. The Mobil Van Racking system was designed to be lightweight, flexible, easy to install or uninstall, and offer a safe and secure means to transport equipment. The shelving is modular and designed to allow Systainer boxes to slide in and sit securely during transit.

The Systainer box system is backed up by the German-designed Tanos System of trays and inserts to hold screws and fixings, spare latches, labels and other spares.
