Orders are now open for Vauxhall’s fully electric Combo-e compact van, which makes its global debut today at the CV show along with the larger Movano-e.
Offering a WLTP range of up to 171 miles, it joins the Vivaro-e electric van launched in July 2020 and means that Vauxhall now offers an all-electric version of every LCV in its range; the brand is planning to go all-electric by 2028.
Both panel van and crew van versions of the Combo-e are available, covering two body lengths and three trim levels. Prices start at £25,238.33 (OTR, ex VAT, inc PiVG).
It features a 136hp electric motor, powered by a 50kWh battery that can be charged from 0-80% in 30 minutes using a 100kW charger and enables it to benefit from a 0% Benefit-in-Kind tax rate. It comes fitted with a 7.4kW on-board charger and charging cable, allowing it to be charged via a wallbox in seven hours and 30 minutes. An 11kW on-board charger is available as an extra cost option and brings the charging time down to five hours.
Payload stands at up to 800kg and the Combo-e brings up to of 4.4m3 of load space. L1 models comes with a nearside sliding side-access door, while L2 models feature both nearside and offside sliding side-access doors.
Standard features on the entry-level Dynamic panel van include DAB radio, Bluetooth, a USB connection and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. It also comes with rear parking sensors and a full-height steel bulkhead, and the Vauxhall Connect service, which alerts emergency and breakdown services in the event of an accident or breakdown.
The Combo-e Sportive adds in a multimedia audio system with an 8-inch colour touchscreen and the FlexCargo pack, which consists of a dual front passengers’ fixed bench seat, fold-flat centre seat backrest with table, two-way foldable outer seat and a load-through bulkhead. Styling additions for the Sportive trim include body-colour door mirrors and bumpers, metallic paint and full-diameter wheel trims.
The Combo-e Crew Van is available exclusively in Dynamic trim and features a three-seat, second-row bench and nearside and offside sliding side-access doors. It also comes with a two-position, moveable ladder frame bulkhead and a four-way adjustable, folding front passenger’s seat.
Paul Willcox, managing director, Vauxhall, said: “With the Combo-e now sale alongside the Vivaro-e and Movano-e, Vauxhall customers now have even greater choice when it comes to finding an electric van that suits their needs. The Combo-e is a fantastic addition to our e-LCV line-up, full of practical features and technology that we’re confident will make it the standout choice in the small van sector.”
