The UK-owned document management company first deployed Ctrack Online in 2010 to gain added visibility of its fleet and is now taking advantage of the solution’s monitoring and reporting functionality as part of its recently launched driver behaviour initiative.

The tracking system will initially be used to identify speeding through its scheduled speed report, which outlines where violations have occurred. In the future, the company will also analyse harsh driving events and vehicle idling to understand where wider improvements can be made within the fleet operation in terms of road safety and fuel efficiency.

Driver Performance Reports generated through the system will rate employees in a green, yellow or red band for each driving exception with an overall score generated.

The company is also considering combining this with the Driver Mobi web app, so employees can access their own Driver Score, via a smartphone, which can be viewed alongside a company average score and peer comparisons.
