Venson scores Van Excellence accreditation for sixth year running

Venson Automotive Solutions has met the standards for the Logistics UK Van Excellence scheme, marking the sixth year running it’s been accredited.

Logistics UK’s Van Excellence scheme aims to help raise compliance levels across the sector by setting high standards and sharing best practice

The scheme recognises excellence in operational standards and examines organisations on their procedures for managing their in-house commercial fleets, including driver checks and vehicle record checks.

Logistics UK said Venson’s accreditation under the best practice framework shows the firm’s commitment to operating its fleet to the highest standards of safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Sharon Mitchell, joint head of consulting & standards, Logistics UK, commented: “We are honoured to recognise the company’s achievements and award it with a Van Excellence certification for the sixth year running. The team’s compliance should be viewed as the benchmark for all fleet operators and we look forward to continuing to work with them on their ongoing journey to maintaining excellence.”

Samantha Roff, managing director of Venson Automotive Solutions, added: “Even with Covid-19 restrictions in place, everyone from Venson who took part in undertaking the measures needed to keep the certification clearly demonstrated their knowledge and commitment to the scheme. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated team, in what has been a very tough year, we continue to be recognised as an example of best practice.”
