Venson to host FTA seminars for housing association fleets

Venson’s training sessions cover vehicle maintenance systems, administration, driver licensing and speed limits, as well as vital information on securing loads, towing equipment and driver behaviour and competence.

The half-day workshops are being run to help social housing providers pass a short exam and receive the FTA Certificate of Excellence, which is valid for three years.

Alison Bell, marketing director for Venson Automotive Solutions, said: “Through these sessions, Venson is helping social housing providers meet the high standards demanded by the FTA’s Van Excellence Scheme. The half-day workshops provide vital training for best practice in managing and maintaining commercial fleets, not just for the benefit of drivers, but for housing association clients and the public.”

Dates for Venson’s FTA Certificate of Excellence training sessions:

Birmingham – Hogarth Hotel – 04 November 2016

Manchester – Midland Hotel – 29 November 2016
