Viridor to focus on cost, choice & sustainability in new Lex fleet deal

The deal covers a total fleet of 350 vehicles comprising 290 cars and 60 commercial vehicles and follows a competitive tendering process, with Lex Autolease having provided the most cost-effective proposal.

Viridor also selected Lex for its proactive approach to fleet management with sustainability at the top of the agenda.

Lex Autolease will work with Viridor on a complete policy review and communication programme, with the new arrangements focusing on cost, choice and sustainability.  This meets Viridor’s objectives of delivering an attractive offering for drivers whilst driving down CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

Lesley Davison, head of HR at Viridor, said: “A reliable service and efficient vehicles are both essential for the smooth running of our operations. As we have worked previously together, the team at Lex Autolease understands how we operate and are able to deliver a fleet solution that will benefit our business both now and in the future.”

Alyson Nordali, Relationship Manager at Lex Autolease, said: “We understand the importance of a dependable fleet and the difference this can make to a business like Viridor. By providing maintenance and accident management and daily rental solutions, we can ensure that Viridor has its vehicles on the road, getting the job done, with the minimum of downtime.

“We are continuing to support the business with a range of flexible fleet services to meet its needs throughout every stage of its growth.”
