Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles extends scrappage scheme

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has extended its scrappage scheme until the end of March.

Volkswagen Crafter
The scrappage scheme includes incentives on diesel Crafter models.

First launched in September in a wave of schemes from manufacturers, Volkswagen’s offer provides incentives of up to £2,000 on new petrol and diesel vans for owners of pre-Euro 5 diesel vehicles registered before 2010.

Available on retail orders, the scheme was due to finish at the end of the year but has now been extended to cover vehicles ordered by 31 March 2018 and registered before 30 June 2018.

Offered on petrol and diesel model, the scheme brings a £1,000 incentive on Caddy Panel Van & Caddy Life (SWB & LWB) and £2,000 for the Transporter Panel Van and Kombi and Crafter.

Vehicles traded in will be scrapped rather than sold on.
