Dorman will be managing accounts in the north of the UK, from Birmingham up into Scotland. He will be responsible for winning new accounts and retaining existing customers through the Government Procurement Service framework.
He was previously a regional sales manager at Volvo Group (UK) Ltd and also has experience working closely with NHS Trusts and Local Government organisations.
Commenting on his new role, Dorman said: ‘With stringent budget controls and the necessity to ensure that all decisions are based on value for money, fleet managers within the public sector have a tough job to prove that any spending will result in better services to the tax payer.
