Taking place at the Crowne Plaza, Heythrop Park, the conference will be hosted by well-known TV broadcaster and motoring journalist, Ginny Buckley and will feature a line-up of industry speakers on the theme of “The future depends on what you do today”.
Sponsored by Manheim, the conference will have four main sessions:
- Session One starts with an overview of the macro-business climate and how this is affecting used vehicle activity, with presenters from Deloitte and the Finance & Leasing Association.
- Session Two will look at the changing scene for buyers, sellers and suppliers within remarketing, with presentations from Manheim, Trader Media and BCA.
- In Session Three, CAP and Autofutura will look at the shifting profile of the actual returning vehicles, as the effects of new vehicle marketing and financing strategies in recent years begin to manifest themselves. Autofutura will also use the VRA Conference as the platform to launch its findings from some detailed research into this important topic.
- Session Four concludes with a “question time” style session, chaired by Ginny Buckley, who will quiz a panel of experts about their views on the day and the audience will also be able to provide their feedback, via personal voting handsets.
A further speaker from a major retailer is due to be confirmed in the next few weeks. Over 12 organisations are showing off their products and services in the exhibition area, which is where delegates can network and enjoy lunch and refreshments during the day.
Tickets are available to book online, via the website at www.vehicle-remarketing.co.uk. Prices are £149 for a VRA member organisation and £199 for non-members. The price includes entry into all event areas, plus lunch and refreshments.
