The rental operator says it’s seen sales more than triple over the past five years, and Marsden’s key role will be to further develop and support VRS’ expanding rental network in the Midlands area.

He brings more than 24 years of automotive and rental experience to the role, having recently held the position of head of sales for Van Monster Remarketing and prior to that held senior positions with SRV Associates and NVR Fleet UK.

James Tait, head of business development, commented: “I am very pleased that we have been able to bring someone of Richards extensive background and experience into our team. I have no doubt that his appointment will provide great benefit and support as we continue to develop the VRS Network in the current challenging business environment.”
