VUE launches smart phone app for tracking

The move gives fleet managers the capability for live monitoring of their entire fleet from the convenience of a PC or smart phone.

Using the system, fleet managers are able to not only know the location of any fleet vehicle at any given time, but also gain insight into driver behaviour and CO2 emissions. With the capability to produce driver score reports based on driving style and performance, the extra insight enables managers to pinpoint areas where cost savings can be made by monitoring fuel efficiency, reducing accidents and assist in cost effective journey planning.

The VUEtrak application also creates incident text alerts to notify businesses if a fleet vehicle has been involved in an accident or incident, as well as panic button text alert for driver safety.
