Fleet operators attending this month’s CV Show can pre-book now to drive the new Crafter on site.

Operators can pre-book now to test the Volkswagen Crafter at the CV Show.

Taking place across all three days of the show, the initiative is intended to enable visitors, accompanied by pro-drivers, to put both their driving skills and the Crafter’s technical features to the test in a designated driving area.

Three challenges, based around agility, urban driving and towing a trailer,  will demonstrate how the Crafter’s electro-mechanical steering system, park assist, reversing cameras, side protect assist and trailer assist work.

Sarah Cox, head of marketing for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: “There’s fun to be had out on the course – but also a serious message: when you have a vehicle that’s easy to drive and safe to drive, you avoid knocks and accidents, big and small, all of which reduce downtime, reduce running costs and enhance resale values. When your vehicles are off the road, they’re not working and your business isn’t moving forwards.”

To pre book can prebook by phoning 07885 184294 until Wednesday 18 April. After this date bookings can be made on the stand direct at the show. Driving licences will need to be seen on the day.
