WEX Europe Services to showcase Esso Card at Silverstone Fleet Show

On 1 December 2014, WEX Inc, a leading provider of corporate payment solutions, announced that it had acquired the assets of the Esso Card programme through a majority owned joint venture, WEX Europe Services Limited. As part of this transaction, both parties have agreed to enter into a long-term supply agreement to serve the current and future Esso Card customers and to grow the business.

The announcement marks the completion of a key strategic milestone for WEX.  Expanding their presence in the European market through the addition of the Esso Card program enables WEX to broaden their international footprint, while laying the foundation for further expansion.

WEX Europe Services are pleased to showcase the Esso Card and other products to the UK Fleet sector at the Fleet World Fleet Show which is being held on 12 May at the Silverstone Wing.

The company will be joined in the wide-ranging Fleet Show exhibition by a large number of fleet service companies attending including other fuel card providers, contract hire and leasing suppliers, daily rental companies, fleet management and fleet servicing providers, fleet software suppliers, licence checking companies, recharging infrastructure suppliers, mileage capture specialists and trade associations.

The Show also provides an extensive test driving programme with more vehicle manufacturers – 25 separate brands – than ever before.

And back again by popular demand are the highly successful fleet training sessions introduced last year, which involve a series of interactive workshops run by practising fleet managers. The 30-minute workshops will again tackle key fleet topics and are the perfect forum find out something new in fleet management.
