Volkswagen introduces new high-end Transporter ‘Edition’ models

Volkswagen’s Transporter van is now available in a new ‘Edition’ trim level for both panel and kombi.

The new ‘Edition’ model is based on the existing Highline model, plus new 17″ Cascavel black diamond surfaced alloy wheels on the 148hp (150PS) version, and 18″ Springfield black alloy wheels on the 197hp (204PS) model. Other design additions include high-gloss black roof and mirror housings, unique Edition decals and blacked-out LED tail lights.

Inside, the ‘Edition’ is equipped with Volkswagen’s Discover Media Navigation system with App-Connect, while driver aids include front and rear parking sensors with rear-view camera, LED headlights and power latching on the nearside sliding door. Panel van models are fitted with a tailgate without window, while kombi models feature a tailgate with window.

All Transporter models are fitted as standard with Front Assist and City Emergency Braking systems

Transporter Edition panel van prices start at £28,990 +VAT recommended retail price, while kombi prices start from £30,620. Order books are open now, with first deliveries expected in November. ‘Edition’ models are available in short wheelbase, low roof form only.
