Van Guard has launched a new Black Range of its best-selling roof bars, roof racks and pipe carriers to offer tradespeople and fleet operators sleeker styling options without compromising on durability.

Available to order from 1 October, the new range will roll out in the UK and mainland Europe alongside Van Guard’s established aluminium silver finish products, giving installers, fleet operators and tradespeople greater flexibility when specifying vehicle accessories.

The launch follows strong demand from customers for accessories that complement the styling of modern commercial vehicles.

Leigh Andrews, R&D director at Van Guard, said demand for black-finish accessories has grown significantly in recent years.

“It became clear that customers wanted the option to specify our most popular carrying systems in a finish that better reflects today’s commercial vehicle market.”

Manufactured at Van Guard’s factory in Devon with a durable powder-coated finish, the new products have undergone extensive paint durability testing to ensure they can withstand the rigours of daily commercial use while maintaining their appearance over time.

Andrews added: “This launch strengthens our product offering considerably. Customers can now choose between aluminium and black finishes without compromising on performance, durability or value. It’s an important step forward for the business and demonstrates our commitment to developing products that reflect the needs of the market.”

The launch follows Van Guard’s acquisition in March 2025 by Bott Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of vehicle conversions and workplace storage systems.

Customers will be able to order the new Black Range from 1 October through Van Guard’s distributor network and direct sales channels.
