Global Vehicle Group (GVG) has officially unveiled its long-term expansion strategy after securing regulatory approval for a major investment from Palladian.
GVG has set out a new strategic roadmap to grow across van and car leasing, fleet management and salary sacrifice
The broker has set out a new strategic roadmap to grow across van and car leasing, fleet management and salary sacrifice following regulatory approval of the investment from private equity firm Palladian announced this summer. Alongside the investment, former Zenith chief executive Andrew Cope has joined GVG as non-executive chairman, bringing further fleet industry experience to the board.
Global Vehicle Group expanded its footprint in June 2025 through the acquisition of Fleet Alliance. The group now unites Global Vans, Fleet Alliance, XLCR Vehicle Management and LCV Group, collectively managing more than 70,000 vehicles with assets under management exceeding £2.2bn.
Following the investment from Palladian, the group’s latest expansion centres on investment in technology and people, strengthening its specialist businesses and making its combined expertise more accessible to customers.
Van and car leasing, fleet management and salary sacrifice will remain central to the strategy. Together, these services allow GVG to support businesses ranging from sole traders and SMEs to larger organisations with complex fleet requirements.
Andrew Hurst, CEO of Global Vehicle Group
Andrew Hurst, chief executive officer of Global Vehicle Group, said: “Each of our brands has strong customer relationships and specialist knowledge, and we see considerable opportunity to build on those foundations.
“Palladian’s backing gives us the support to invest for the long term. We want to help our businesses grow, develop our people and make it easier for customers to access the services they need across the group.
“A customer’s requirements can change considerably over time. They may need additional vehicles, more support managing their fleet or help introducing salary sacrifice. We have the expertise within the group to support those changes and want to make better use of it for our customers.”
Technology development will support this approach, including improvements to the group’s websites and digital customer journeys, alongside continued investment in its proprietary systems.
GVG is also preparing to extend access to eFleet, its vehicle management and driver support platform, across the group’s brands, giving business customers and drivers a common point of access.
Doug Oppenheim, co-managing partner of Palladian Investment Partners
Alongside GVG’s investment in digital services, the plans also place heavy focus on the specialist advice and account support provided by its businesses, helping customers choose, fund and manage vehicles as their needs develop.
Doug Oppenheim, co-managing partner of Palladian Investment Partners, said: “GVG brings together established businesses with complementary strengths and a management team that understands its customers and markets.
“We see considerable potential to grow from that position. Our role is to support the team with the investment and resources to develop the business over the long term, while building on the expertise and service that customers already value.”
