AIT Home Delivery has introduced two new Mercedes-Benz eSprinter electric vans to its delivery fleet, bolstering its commitment to sustainable logistics.

Supplied by NRG Riverside, the fully electric vehicles will carry out urban delivery routes from the Northampton and Enfield facilities, helping to reduce emissions while maintaining service standards for the two-person home delivery specialist.

The investment forms part of the organisation’s long-term fleet strategy, which combines operational excellence with lower-emission transportation alternatives, ensuring customers benefit from reliable, efficient and increasingly sustainable final-mile delivery solutions.

The new vehicles will also help future-proof company operations as more urban areas introduce low-emission zones.

NRG Riverside supplied the vehicles and supported the smooth introduction of the electric vans into AIT’s UK operation.

The electric vans form part of AIT’s wider strategy to slash Scope 1 emissions and provide sustainable, industry-leading final-mile deliveries.

The company also continues to invest significantly in its fleet to ensure fuel efficiency. Its 35 new MAN tractor units run on HVO fuel, cutting lifecycle CO2 emissions by up to 90% without compromising on reliability.
