Brothers pair up with Mercedes-Benz new Vitos

Their new vans arrived via Newtownabbey dealer Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI) and have replaced a pair of older Vito models, each of which provided 10 years and 200,000 miles of trouble-free service.

“Those vans were superbly reliable,” said Mark Gribbin. “We worked them very hard and they never gave us any problems.

“As directors, though, Niall and I can’t be driving round in beat-up old vans; we need to present a smart, professional image. Yet we’re both very ‘hands on’ too, so we have to be able to throw our tools in the back and drive onto building sites as well. The new Vito meets both these requirements perfectly.”

The long-bodied crew van models have second rows of seats, so each can carry a driver and four passengers in comfort, while still offering a highly practical cargo carrying area.

“We considered a range of options from rival manufacturers, including crew-cabbed pick-up trucks, but nothing came close to the combination of comfort, equipment level and practicality offered by the Vito,” continued Mark Gribbin.

“When we factored in the proven reliability, and the high quality of service we receive from Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van (NI), there was really only one option.”
