Cadent has appointed the AA to deliver end-to-end accident management services across its fleet of over 2,500 commercial vehicles.
The AA will take responsibility for managing incidents throughout the accident lifecycle
As the UK’s largest gas distribution network, Cadent relies on a complex fleet to support critical frontline operations across its network. The new partnership is designed to help keep those vehicles on the road through a combination of expert human support, nationwide coverage and technology-led accident management.
Under the partnership, the AA will take responsibility for managing incidents throughout the accident lifecycle, helping minimise vehicle downtime, improve operational visibility and provide greater control across recovery, repair and mobility services.
Central to the service is the AA’s integrated accident management platform, providing real-time visibility, case management and reporting throughout the incident lifecycle. The platform supports recovery, repair, mobility and claims management activity, giving fleet operators a single view of accident management performance and operational insight.
The partnership will support Cadent through enhanced reporting, data visibility and proactive management of vehicle off-road (VOR) incidents.
Lucy Stuart, head of fleet & logistics at Cadent, commented: “Keeping our commercial fleet operational is critical to the services we provide every day. We were looking for a partner that could offer strong operational support, clear reporting and the technology needed to effectively manage accident-related incidents across a large and diverse vehicle fleet.
“The AA demonstrated a clear understanding of our requirements and a robust, technology-led approach to accident management. We look forward to working together to improve visibility, support our drivers and minimise vehicle downtime.”
The partnership strengthens the AA’s position as a trusted provider of accident management services for complex commercial fleets.
Chloe Edwards, business development manager accident management at the AA Business Services, commented: “Cadent operates a large and operationally critical fleet, where vehicle availability is essential to supporting frontline services. We’re proud to have been selected as its accident management partner and look forward to helping keep its fleet moving.
“Our approach combines people, technology and nationwide support to provide complete visibility and control throughout the accident lifecycle. By bringing together recovery, repair, mobility and reporting within a single managed service, we can help reduce downtime, improve operational insight and deliver better outcomes for both fleet managers and drivers.”
