CoolKit to drive standards under new production planning role

Alicia Threlfall has been promoted to the role from the sales department and will draw on her knowledge of the firm’s refrigerated products and services, and standards.

Threlfall commented: “This new position will allow me to oversee the day-to-day management of the production team by making sure our supervisors in the manufacturing workshop have a point of contact with the sales team so that operations run smoothly. This will make sure that the customer requirements are fully understood by production and carried out to the highest standard.

“Once an order has been confirmed, all departments within the organisation need to collaborate in making sure we deliver the end product as promised and on time. In my new role as production planning manager, I will also oversee the interactions between the logistics and supply chain coordination departments, whilst also providing support to our customers, with regular updates on the progress of their fridge van conversion.

“Due to the expansion we have experienced this year, we now maintain a large operations department, with in-house manufacturing facilities, which can hold up to 30 vans at any one time. This means fast turnaround times for our customers, whilst maintaining the high quality standards and attention to detail we have become known for in the industry.”
