Dawsonrentals | vans makes major vehicle investment in Q2

The business said the investment demonstrates its commitment to giving customers access to best-in-class vehicles and is in addition to 800 new units brought in at the start of the year and several thousand additions planned before the end of 2016.”

The new ’16-plate vehicles continues Dawsonrentals | vans’ longstanding relationships with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Ford and Isuzu. They also mark the introduction of Vauxhall vehicles to the fleet for the first time, with the addition of a number of Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive vans following a high demand from customers looking to operate the newest vans in their industry sectors.

The business said it will also continue to invest in its Specialist Vehicle Division, which operates in all seven depots across the UK. The purchase of new dropsides, 4x4s and tippers are intended to meet growing demand from customers.

Gareth Jones, managing director at Dawsonrentals | vans, said: “We are pleased to have developed a new partnership with Vauxhall to welcome the brand-new Vivaro Sportives to our fleet. Due to our growing customer base we are seeing an increase in demand for vehicles that don’t just cater to the urban driver, but are suitable for a range of different terrains, which is why we’re also investing heavily in our Specialist Division throughout the second quarter of the year.”
