Since adopting the web-based tracking tool Ctrack Online across 17 vans used by its team of electricians, the company has claimed labour costs reductions of 12% by ensuring the number of hours booked by staff accurately reflects actual hours worked, and fuel usage savings of 15% by controlling private mileage claims.
The added visibility and control provided by Ctrack Online also means that managers have reported a boost in productivity of electricians in the field.
