Fiat Professional has created a new head of sales role and appointed an LCV-focused SME sales team as it looks to capitalise on the growing LCV marketplace.
Richard Chamberlain joins as head of sales and brings more than two decades of experience in the automotive sector including his most recent role as LCV manager for Renault Trucks.
He joins Fiat Professional following the appointment of Alejandro Noriega as country manager in July 2016 and will oversee wide-ranging changes designed to improve all aspects of the sales operation and deliver industry-leading standards of customer service and support.
In addition, the new LCV-focused SME sales team has been recruited to support Fiat Professional’s nationwide network of 77 specialist commercial vehicle dealers.
“The LCV market in the UK is bigger than it’s ever been and the opportunities that come with that are enormous,” said Chamberlain.
“No brand is better placed than Fiat Professional to capitalise on those opportunities as we now have one of the broadest, most competitive and compelling LCV line-ups in the marketplace.
“Last year saw the introduction of two new products, the midsize Talento van and Fullback as Fiat Professional’s first pickup. We will have a laser focus on meeting the needs of our customers moving forward.”
