The new Vito Sport-X, a UK-exclusive trim for the Vito Crew van range, is now available to order from Mercedes.
The motorsport-inspired model is priced from £56,995 (excl. VAT) and sits at the top of the Vito Crew van line-up as a rival to the Ford Transit Custom MS-RT and Volkswagen Transporter Sportline.
Based on the existing Vito Select trim, the Sport-X adds a track-styled exterior design, upgraded interior materials and additional standard equipment.
Configured as a five-seater crew van in L2 and L3 body lengths, the Vito Sport-X offers payloads of up to 733kg, load capacity of up to 4.1m3 and towing capability of up to 2,500kg. A removable rear bench allows for additional load space when needed. While no panel van version exists right now, a launch further down the line wouldn’t be surprising if demand is there.
The top-rung model is powered by a 190hp 2.0-litre diesel engine, paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, producing 440Nm of torque and capable of 0-62mph in 10 seconds.
Exterior changes include a redesigned front bumper and grille with integrated splitter, rear spoiler, gloss black detailing, side skirts, roof rails and bespoke Sport-X badging. This is rounded by sport stripes to the bonnet and sides, plus 19-inch diamond-cut black alloy wheels.
Alpine Grey is standard, with Arctic White or six metallic paints, Sodalite Blue, Obsidian Black, Kalahari Gold, High Tech Silver, Graphite Grey or Hyacinth Red available at no extra cost.
The interior replaces the standard three-seat front bench with individual sport seats with integrated headrests, redesigned bolsters for comfort and Sport-X branding. The cabin also features motorsport-inspired black eco-leather and dark grey suede upholstery with orange contrast stitching. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and a centre console unit with storage are included as standard.
Each Vito Sport-X also comes with a range of services designed to maximise uptime, including three-year manufacturer warranty, 30 years’ MobiloVan roadside assistance and breakdown cover and Uptime monitor
First deliveries are expected later this month and customers who purchase a Vito Sport-X during the Mercedes-Benz Vans Advantage event period (14-23 September) will be able to pick one of the following complimentary offerings:
