FTA events to help fleets prepare for London ULEZ

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) is holding a session at its Transport Manager conferences to offer advice on preparing for London’s forthcoming Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Last year’s Transport Manager conferences broke attendance records for the series

The scheme will come into force in just six months’ time and will expand in 18 months to cover trucks and buses.  At the same time, Transport for London will introduce the wholly new Direct Vision Standard for all trucks in Greater London.

To help fleets prepare for and cope with the effects of the schemes, the FTA will spotlight the issues at its Transport Manager events, which take place at 10 venues across the country.

The conferences will also cover other salient issues, including clean air zones, the DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme, lowering emissions, Brexit, managing your maintenance provider and smart tachographs.

For further information or to book a place go to https://fta.co.uk/events or call the FTA Member Service Centre on 03717 11 22 22.
