The Chinese commercial vehicle giant is bringing its Tunland pickup and Cavan C1 electric van range to these shores, partnering with IML as its official UK distributor.
The Foton range of Cavan C1 electric vans was first shown in the UK at the CV Show in April 2026. The distinctively styled line-up comprises three models: the C1, the extended length C1 Plus and the extended and taller C1 Max.
As brand manager LCV at IML, David Clark will manage the introduction of the vehicles to the UK.
He joins International Motors with experience gained across both sales and aftersales in the automotive and commercial vehicle environments. Most recently general manager for the Chinese Skywell electric car marque, Clark also brings nearly 10 years’ experience with the MG brand, as well as with electric truck and logistics companies.
Alan Able, managing director of Isuzu UK and IM Group’s LCV activities, said: “David brings with him a broad expertise across electric, Chinese and commercial vehicle brands, as well as in network development and managing the full spectrum of sales and aftersales functions.
“The Tunland pickup and Cavan C1 electric LCVs present a significant opportunity for the new dealer network, and we look forward to introducing Foton vehicles in the UK.”
