Lex Autolease to develop business opportunities under newly created role

The board-level position will see Hyett manage the company's business development function and take responsibility for developing new business opportunities across all sectors.   

Previously head of mega fleets at Lex Autolease, Hyett was responsible for delivering multi-disciplined fleet solutions for large private and public sector organisations. He joined Lex Autolease 12 years ago as corporate business development director and has more than 25 years’ corporate sales experience across the FMCG, transport, and hospitality sectors.   

Tim Porter, managing director at Lex Autolease, said: ‘Doug is a highly experienced and effective leader within the organisation who can bring such in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market to the role. With his proven track record of acquiring new and diverse business, Doug is a valuable addition to the board and will be instrumental in our growth plans.’
