The new tie-up brings a number of benefits to service and delivery fleets.

Service and delivery fleet operators can now benefit from an integrated routing, tracking and data capture solution via ‘the cloud’ thanks to a partnership between Maxoptra and Talecom.

The alliance teams up Maxoptra’s multi drop planning software with Talecom’s Capture applications to enable fleets to capture, record and share a range of operational and customer service data.

The firms said the tie-up will enhance the efficiency of delivery and service operations with advanced route planning and scheduling. On site productivity of staff will also be boosted with secure mobile applications, including Proof of Delivery (POD) and applications for engineers.

“The agreement with Talecom gives Maxoptra users an end-to-end solution that is proven in a range of industry sectors and applications,” commented Maxoptra business development director, Stuart Brunger. “The power of Talecom’s Capture applications will enhance efficiencies already achieved in the planning and execution of mobile operations by reducing time spent on site, reducing existing paper based processes by converting them into mobile applications.”For more of the latest industry news, click here.
