The new workshop will be able to offer servicing and maintenance for vehicles ranging from car-derived vans (CDVs) to a variety of 7.5 tonne vehicles.
The new facility will allow the Luton team to perform service and maintenance jobs on site, rather than rely on other Northgate Workshop facilities close by, enhancing the customer experience by minimising vehicle downtime.
Commenting on the expansion, Mark Robinson, the Northgate branch manager, said: ‘We are delighted to have this addition to our facilities, as it will enable Northgate to offer an improved servicing package to all Luton customers. I am very excited about the constant growth and expansion of the Luton branch, as we’ve seen a huge demand from local businesses over the past year.
‘We are continuing the development of the workshop adding capacity in future due to the success and customer demands experienced so far.’
Anthony Hockaday, who has worked for Northgate for the past 10 years, will head up the new workshop.
