NWR Hygiene upgrades to Allstar One fuel card

The move from the current Allstar Classic card will help the business benefit from greater value, increased convenience and significant cost savings when purchasing fuel, including discounted diesel .

NWR Hygiene said ongoing business growth means its fleet of Mercedes and Volkswagen vehicles, primarily used by NWR’s engineers, now travel in excess of 25,000 miles per annum servicing customers. With the fleet expanding and mileage increasing, the decision was made to upgrade to the Allstar One card and utilise all the benefits that the card delivers.

Not only does the Allstar One card enable businesses and their drivers to pay for fuel, but it also covers a range of products and services as well, such as glass repair and replacement, tyre services from ATS Euromaster, AA breakdown and fuel assist, M6toll payment and ServicePoint – a recently launched service, maintenance and repair offering which can save businesses up to 50% off labour and 15% off parts with an overall average saving of 30%.

In addition, customers will be able to utilise Allstar’s Business Mileage Monitor (BMM) service – an automated system to ensure accurate reporting and payment of business and private fuel, which reduces the administrative burden and ensures HMRC compliance.

Chris Lowery, managing director of NWR Hygiene Group, commented: “Initially we used the Allstar Classic card when we first partnered with Allstar in 2007. The main reason for this was the convenience and size of Allstar’s fuel network, offering us access to over 7,600 fuel sites.

“When the Allstar One card was launched, it made complete business sense for us to make the transition from the Allstar Classic to the Allstar One card. We now have a one-stop-shop service for all our fleet needs, including SMR, which is beneficial from both a convenience and administration standpoint, whilst also allowing us to access discount diesel sites thereby delivering substantial savings on our fuel bill.”

Peter Bridgen, managing director of FleetCor UK, added: “Having NWR Hygiene upgrade to the Allstar One card is a real endorsement of the new one card solution and the benefits that the card delivers. As a business, we really strive to deliver solutions that can help businesses overcome the challenges posed by managing a fleet of vehicles. NWR Hygiene are just one of our customers who recognise that the Allstar One card not only delivers financial benefits such as the ability to access cheaper fuel, but also improves cost control and compliance.”
