The firm, which provides catering, cleaning and facilities management services to schools, public buildings and local businesses across the North, has equipped it’s teams with 17 new vehicles, including 12 Peugeot Bipper vans, after signing a three-year contract-hire agreement with Lex Autolease.
The business, which has previously acquired company vehicles outright, said the switch to leasing would fuel plans to grow its private sector client-base in Cumbria and the North East while reducing the costs of maintaining and servicing its vans.
Alistair Irvine, director at Orian Solutions Ltd, commented: “As an ambitious company looking to expand our business across several regions, first impressions matter, and by providing our staff with brand new vans and appropriate signage we can deliver the right customer perception while ensuring we’re operating as leanly as possible.
“Leasing is not something we previously considered, but it has allowed us to cut our overheads and improve cash flow for future investments, together with reducing our carbon emissions to align with our environmentally-friendly ethos.”
Headquartered in Carlisle, Orian Solutions Ltd employs 900 people from across Cumbria with regional offices in Kendal, Maryport and Ulverston.
