The RoadHawk DC-2 forward facing black box camera system becomes RoadHawk's flagship insurance endorsed camera, designed to provide evidential grade video documentation with full supporting data to exonerate drivers and cut the cost of crashes within commercial fleets.
The presence of RoadHawk Black Box Vehicle Camera Systems, and later analysis of data they capture, can also be used to encourage safer and more fuel efficient driving, while also enhancing driver security.
According to RoadHawk, in a nine month trial of the cameras in commercial vehicles, 56% of drivers stating the camera’s presence had caused them to change their driving behaviour for the better and 75% stating they felt the cameras improved their personal safety and security.
‘In the ever changing world of vehicle cameras, RoadHawk strives to maintain its market leading force, by listening to the feedback from the people who need the best systems available and constantly improving the technology to meet these demands,’ explained Mark Nelson, managing director at RoadHawk.
The RoadHawk DC-2 system retails for £179.95 and will be available from September 2014.
