South West Truck & Van (SWTV) hosted Iveco’s national MY26 Roadshow at Leigh Court on the outskirts of Bristol last week, giving customers first-hand experience of the new generation of vehicles.

Operators in the South West were able to test-drive Iveco’s latest vehicles and speak to key staff members to discuss how the different solutions could work within their businesses.
The event showcased a comprehensive line-up of Iveco vehicles, running from light commercial vans to heavy-duty trucks. Operators were able to explore diverse powertrain options spanning standard diesel, electric and alternative fuel models, including the S-Way, X-Way, Eurocargo, Daily/eDaily, eJolly/eSuperJolly and S-eWay.
Beyond showcasing the latest product range, the event also highlighted the importance of local dealer support and fostering good face-to-face relationships with operators.
Joe Wood, commercial director at SWTV, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to allow our customers to get behind the wheel, ask questions and talk to people who understand their businesses. That direct feedback is incredibly valuable to us as a dealer.”
The event also provided an opportunity to explore how South West operators are approaching issues such as efficiency, electrification, connectivity, driver experience and operating costs, as well as navigating changing urban transport requirements and the nearby Clean Air Zones in Bristol and Bath.
Wood added: “As operators increasingly look towards sustainable fleet options, the event showcased how Iveco’s expanding electric range is well-positioned to support customers in meeting both their operational and environmental goals.”
Richard Pinnock, national distribution manager at Agrii, test-drove the eJolly, eSuperJolly and the 26T S-eWay Electric Rigid. He said: “I’m impressed with the performance of everything I drove, but particularly the S-eWay and the driving experience of this product.”
The South West has a diverse commercial vehicle market, from owner-operators and SMEs through to larger fleets across sectors including construction, distribution, retail and agriculture.
The SWTV-hosted event was part of Iveco’s nationwide MY26 Roadshow covering 2,000 miles across the UK, visiting 14 locations over nine weeks until mid-November, allowing customers and operators to experience the new MY26 range via Iveco’s network of dealers.
SWTV also used the morning of the event to host its own internal awards ceremony to recognise team members who have gone above and beyond in delivering outstanding service, supporting customers and contributing to the success of the business.
