Run by Reza Asghar, the business represents Dyno-Rod in south London and Kent and operates a fleet of 20 vans, of which seven are Sprinter 313 CDI models supplied by the Mercedes-Benz East London Van Centre.
The business has now placed an order for a further four vehicles in the form of 314 CDI variants with cleaner, ‘greener’ Euro 6 engines, funded again by Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.
Liveried with the Dyno-Rod branding, the Sprinters carry high-pressure jetting machines, hoses and water tanks, cctv cameras and other, more utilitarian tools such as drills and spades.
Reza Asghar explained: “The nature of our work means that when customers call it’s invariably to report an emergency. For this reason it’s crucial that we can rely on our vehicles, which is why I have chosen Mercedes-Benz.”
While a couple of the new vehicles have long bodies, most are medium-length versions. “Several of the south London postcodes that we cover are highly congested and fact that the Medium variant is just over a metre shorter makes it much easier to park, while it also has a significantly tighter turning circle,” said Asghar.
Meanwhile the Sprinters’ raft of standard-fit safety systems are also aiding with day-to-day operation. “Safety is one of our key priorities,” Asghar continued. “So I’m happy that these vehicles are helping to fulfil my Duty of Care, both to my own employees and to other road users.”
As with all Mercedes-Benz vans, the Sprinters came with three-year, unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranties. As they are being maintained within the official Mercedes-Benz dealer network, they also benefit from MobiloVan cover, which includes free roadside assistance for up to 30 years.
