SSE renews fleet safety deal with Applied Driving Techniques

Energy firm SSE Plc has reappointed driver risk expert Applied Driving Techniques (ADT) as its fleet safety partner following a retendering exercise.

SSE has reappointed ADS as its fleet safety partner

The competitive process saw ADT reappointed after the original three-year partnership led to significant increase in driver safety, compliance and a reduction in collisions, which won recognition with a Brake Fleet Safety award.

Andy Phillips, ADT director for risk management, said: “It has been an incredible three years, working with a company who shares in our beliefs of creating a sustainable safety culture. We are now in a great position to build on our successes.

“Our aim lies in remaining forward-thinking, taking on board our common goal of applying the latest best practice services to better protect company drivers. The ADT Team are excited to continue the journey with SSE, developing our partnership, and looking to the many possibilities ahead.”
