Subscription-based van service caters for fluid fleet needs

Mycardirect has extended its subscription-based vehicle offer to include a wide range of commercial vehicles, responding to growing demand for vans for home delivery following the Covid-19 pandemic.

The company, which launched last year under former Free2Move Lease UK managing director, Duncan Chumley, will provide flexible, all-inclusive nationwide subscriptions of between one and 24 months under the Myvandirect service, including maintenance within the monthly payments to make it easier for customers.

It’s hoped that this will enable businesses to adapt to changing demands on their fleet, without the need to commit to a three or four-year contract hire term. The service is 100% paperless, with subscriptions arranged online and free delivery available for mainland UK customers and options for early termination or mid-subscription vehicle changes if required.

“These are exciting times,” said Chumley. “We are delighted with the consumer response to the launch of Mycardirect and have been hugely encouraged by the demand for the addition of vans to our customer proposition. I am confident that this timely business expansion will see our customer base grow ever larger”.

Mycardirect operates out of three locations in the UK and relocated to a head office at Hemel Hempstead to enable further growth. In January, it acquired Avalon Vehicle Rental, which has since been rebranded as Mycardirect Rental.

The service is available here.
