The Algorithm People signs up 100th partner to augment van fleet support

Route optimisation company The Algorithm People has signed up its 100th partner, bringing increased benefits to van and truck operators.

Logico and The Algorithm People both offer solutions to help van and truck operators drive compliance and cut costs

The deal with transport management services specialist Logico will see the companies refer clients to each other.

Logico provides commercial vehicle operators with services including operator licence compliance, audits, risk management solutions and HR, while The Algorithm People is the developer of My Transport Planner, a pay-as-you-go route optimisation platform, which is available on a free 30-day trial.

There are a number of synergies between the firms. Both are based in North East England and are members of both the North East Chamber of Commerce and North East Automotive Alliance. In addition, both businesses are fast-growing and focused on helping transport operators cut costs while remaining compliant.

Colin Ferguson, CEO of The Algorithm People, said most of the company’s new business is generated via referrals from partners, who range from consultants and leasing brokers through to fleet management and telematics providers.

“In the past twelve months we’ve gone from a handful of partners to one hundred,” added Ferguson. “Interest has soared since we launched My Transport Planner earlier this year because these companies recognise the benefits it can bring to their clients and customers.”
