Artisan Hire Centre, which provides tool and small plant hire in the South and South West, has deployed two brand new 7.5-tonne Isuzu rigids.
The vehicles replace an incumbent 7.5-tonne rigid, with the Wiltshire-based firm having decided to increase the rigid fleet to accommodate the recent growth in customer deliveries requiring greater payloads.
Supplied by local Isuzu Truck dealer Greenmeadow Commercial Services Ltd, both vehicles are fitted with beavertail plant bodies, built by AG Bracey Ltd, Bristol, and feature rear cab mounted winches.
The new trucks are now working out of the company’s Swindon depot from where they are expected to have a working life of four years, covering 30,000 miles per annum.
“Our previous successful experience of running Isuzus meant that we were more than happy to specify the Isuzu marque again for this new vehicle acquisition programme,” said Chris Comers, managing director, Artisan Hire Centre.
