Van Monster, part of Zigup Plc, has strategically relocated four of its UK sites to integrate more closely with the wider Northgate Mobility network.
The branches in Glasgow, Snodland, Knowsley and Leicester have moved to shared hubs, allowing commercial vehicle operators to access used van sales, vehicle hire and specialist fleet services all under one roof.
The expansion strengthens Van Monster’s national retail network and aligns with Northgate Mobility’s ‘One Road/One Fleet’ approach, designed to streamline services for businesses across the country.
Key relocations include the new Glasgow store, which joins Northgate Vehicle Hire, Northgate Highways and Northgate Temperature Controlled at the Queenslie ‘supersite’ just off junction 10 of the M8.
The move adds used van retail to an established fleet services hub, giving operators across Scotland and northern England access to used vehicle sales, hire and specialist fleet expertise through a single location.
Van Monster has also relocated from Dartford to the Northgate Snodland ‘supersite’, which stocks over 30 used low‑mileage small and medium vans, tippers and crew vans.
The site is also home to Northgate Vehicle Hire and traffic management specialist Northgate Highways, which offer a variety of vans and cars on short‑ and long‑term hire, as well as 3.5- and 7.5-tonne traffic management vehicles and 18-tonne impact protection vehicles (IPVs), respectively.
In the North West, Van Monster has moved from Warrington to Knowsley, joining Northgate Vehicle Hire and improving access to used vehicles and fleet support services for customers across the Merseyside region.
Finally, in Leicester, Van Monster has relocated to an FMG site, strengthening its presence in the Midlands and providing customers with easier access to vehicle expertise and wider fleet services.
For customers located further afield, Van Monster also offers nationwide delivery, ensuring businesses across the UK can access its full range of used vehicles regardless of location.
Peter Cavanagh, head of retail sales, said the relocations are all about making it easier for customers to access the vehicles and expertise they need.
“By bringing Van Monster closer to the wider Northgate Mobility network, we’re creating locations where customers can buy used vans, access hire solutions and benefit from specialist vehicle knowledge, all from one place. And with nationwide delivery available across our vehicle range, customers can purchase with confidence wherever they are based in the UK.”
