Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has opened UK order books for the new Caddy Cargo and Caddy People, introducing an interior technology refresh and updated styling.
Prices start from £26,145 (excluding VAT) for the Caddy Cargo and £28,900 for the Caddy People, with first customer deliveries starting from this month.
Significant cabin updates deliver a new, larger 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as the Digital Cockpit Pro as standard.
Drivers get improved mobile phone charging options. A 25W wireless charger is standard across the range, with increased USB-C output in the front and an additional USB-C point in the dashboard.
Cabin upgrades also introduce an illuminated touch slider for temperature control, revised trim finishes and new seat upholstery designs.
Drivers also benefit from enhanced Travel Assist functionality, adding assisted lane-change capability and updates to Emergency Assist operations.
Exterior upgrades include an updated front bumper and four new colour options: Reed Green Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Sunset Red Metallic and Grey Brown Metallic. These bring the total to 11 different paint choices across solid and metallic finishes.
The updated Caddy range offers three distinct wheel options. The Commerce and Commerce Plus trims feature 16-inch steel wheels as standard, with the choice to upgrade to 16-inch ‘Lisboa’ Silver alloys. For the top-tier Commerce Pro, premium 17-inch ‘Amsterdam’ Silver alloy wheels come as standard.
The Caddy Cargo also gets Volkswagen’s enhanced warranty and service plan, the 5+ Promise, at no extra cost. This comprises five services – three services for electric models – three MOTs, a five-year Warranty and five years’ Roadside Assistance.
