Volkswagen says vans not affected by CO2 irregularities

Earlier this month the manufacturer released a list of vehicles affected, including the Caddy and T6 Transporter.

However, a spokesperson for the company said yesterday (25 November): “We have had confirmation from our factory that no commercial vehicles are affected by the irregularities over CO2 values.”

The announcement came as Volkswagen confirmed the recall work required to address the NOx emissions on its EA 189 diesel engines for affected car models, with the required fixes expected to take less than an hour.
