Camera Telematics’ i360 multi-camera solution

With an extensive fleet in constant use throughout London and the surrounding areas, the company expects to benefit from improvements in key areas of fleet and insurance premiums management following the widespread installation of the vehicle camera solution on its vehicles.

Operating within a challenging market, investment in such a camera system is expected to provide consistent and notable improvements to areas such as First Notification of Loss (FNOL) and claims management, driver behaviour and secure real-time monitoring of fleet activities. Improvements to such areas for Westminster Waste form part of a wider strategy wherein the company plans to establish itself further as a specialist market leader.

With a mixture of five and eight camera systems deployed in their fleet which includes skip lorries, roll on-roll off, tractor units and plant, Westminster Waste are able to live stream from any camera and remotely download any footage needed. In addition, the driver has multiple cameras displayed on a monitor helping to eliminate blind spots which are hugely important when Health & Safety play a big part in daily operations.

Errin McNamee, managing director of Camera Telematics UK comments: “We are proud to help another leading UK business in the form of Westminster Waste. The reliability and feature quality of our iC360 camera solution are enviable. We have installed a mixture of five and eight camera systems deployed in their fleet which includes skip lorries, roll on-roll off, tractor units and plant, Westminster Waste are able to live stream from any camera and remotely download any footage needed. In addition, the driver has multiple cameras displayed on a monitor helping to eliminate blind spots which is hugely important when Health & Safety play a big part in daily operations. The iC360 offers a real benefit to fleet managers and their drivers.”

With compliance a critical aspect of lowering fleet insurance premiums and operational costs, the encrypted data feed available to iC360 owners has proved valuable in saving proactive fleet managers time and funding. With fresh opportunities to streamline operations through improved driver training, vehicle maintenance and more, Westminster Waste looks forward to seeing a marked difference in the latter parts of 2022 and beyond.

Dominic Moule, managing director of Westminster Waste Ltd comments: “The iC360 system delivers our business peace of mind as we have deployed the most advanced onboard vehicle camera solution available throughout our fleet of vehicles. This ensures that not only are our drivers safe and accountable but that as a business we are best protected from any potential incidents of insurance fraud.”
