The conference has been organised in response to the news that European rules are set to apply to vehicles not previously covered, including vans, trucks and trailers as well as other special purpose vehicles.
The event will analyse the EC rulings on construction standards for road vehicles that are being implemented on a European-wide basis, and will focus on the requirements of the rules that are being gradually introduced until October 2014.
The conference is also aimed at operators who are considering buying a “one-off” vehicle but may not be aware of the complexities involved in the Whole Vehicle Type Approval.
Leading industry speakers will hold a number of seminars exploring topics including how the legislation will affect vehicle construction standards and procedures, vehicle design and build processes, registration and entry into service.
