Fleets invited to open day for new ‘spray-on’ vinyl livery system

Fleets are being invited to check out a new spray-on vinyl system designed to be cheaper and more effective than traditional spray painting and even vehicle wrapping.

Mediafleet will demonstrate its spray-on vinyl wrap being applied to UPS vehicles

Dubbed WrapidCoat, the new colour coating solution has been developed by vehicle graphics specialist Mediafleet to offer all of the benefits of vinyl wrapping but is said to bring significant cost savings and superior vehicle coverage. It’s also been designed for easy removal, helping to ensure higher residual values as well as reduced vehicle downtime.

The solution is now being used by UPS for branding its OSP fleet, enabling it to purchase stock vehicles and quickly change the colour to the branding specifications and corporate identity.

To show the benefits of WrapidCoat, Mediafleet is holding an open day incorporating a factory tour and a demonstration of the solution. The event, which is free to attend, takes place on 5 September at its Oxfordshire base and will enable guests to see the next tranche of UPS vehicles undertake the colour change and branding process. Attendees will also be shown how easy the vinyl is to remove at ‘end-of-life’. Afterwards, over lunch with the Mediafleet team, there will be an opportunity to ask any questions concerning any aspect of the Mediafleet portfolio of services.
