Hodgson Tool Hire has introduced two new 3.5-tonne Isuzu N35.125 Grafters, replacing identical older units in its six-vehicle fleet.
The new arrivals strengthen a relationship between the three companies that has spanned nearly a decade.
Equipped in Hodgson Tool Hire’s distinct green livery and mounted with dropside bodies and tail-lifts from Brit-Tipp, the new Grafters will support plant hire delivery services across the North West of England.
Callum Hodgson, business manager of Lancashire-based Hodgson Tool Hire, said: “We’ve been running Isuzu Grafters since 2017, and they’ve consistently proven to be reliable workhorses – which is critical for our type of business. Agile and manoeuvrable, with excellent payload capacity and towing ability, they offer a practicality and ease of use that our drivers appreciate.
“On top of that, there’s the service we get from the team at Ditchburn Truck Services, which has always been fantastic. They understand our priorities and make sure they are reflected in the vehicle spec as each deal comes together.”
The vehicles will conduct intensive plant hire deliveries six days per week, often towing tandem-axle trailers. They will transport a wide range of plant equipment, scaffolding poles and other specialist tools to customer sites. Hodgson Tool Hire expects the Grafters to remain in its fleet for at least four years.
The chassis are supplied with the manufacturer’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty, which includes 24/7 roadside assistance and access to personalised support from the Isuzu Truck UK Customer Care Team.
