Prices revealed for new Vauxhall Movano

Vauxhall’s revised Movano is now available to order, priced from £27,745 excluding VAT.

 

The 2019 Vauxhall Movano is now available to order

Revealed a month ago, the updated Movano is available in dealerships from September, bringing design changes, new engines and new driver assistance and technological features.

The line-up offers four different lengths and three heights, starting from the basic panel van, which is also offered in a long-wheelbase option with added height priced at £31,600 (excl VAT). Models with Euro VId (Heavy Duty Cycle) engines are priced from £32,400 (excl VAT), while the largest and most powerful panel van is priced at £39,815 (excl VAT). It’s also offered as a Doublecab, priced from £33,250 (excl VAT).

The engine line-up brings Euro 6D Temp (Euro 6.2) or heavy-duty Cycle Euro VId-specified units, covering the 2.3-litre turbo diesel engine with a number of power outputs. This includes a 135hp version that’s 4% more powerful than the outgoing unit while offering a 15% increase in official combined fuel economy. The 150hp Start/Stop engine is more powerful than before, with a 17% increase in combined fuel economy.

Driver assistance systems now see Side-Wind Assistant now come as standard on all models while options include a rear-vision camera system that gives a live feed to a seven-inch touchscreen to help detect cyclists and pedestrians, and a new blind spot monitoring system. A lane departure warning system is also available.

As well as Side-Wind Assistant, standard equipment also includes automatic windscreen wipers and automatic dipped-beam headlights.

New onboard technologies include the Navi 5.0 IntelliLink Pro infotainment system, which features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, with the interior featuring a wireless charging point for smartphones.
